Staff Accountant
Malvin, Riggins & Company, P.C. is looking for a Staff Accountant. We are seeking an accounting professional with 2-4 years public accounting experience to join our firm. The candidate would have a range of experience preparing business and individual tax returns. Additional qualifications would include general accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements. The candidate should be able to work independently and possess strong communication skills required for maintaining and developing relationships with clients and other firm members.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years experience in public accounting, preferably the majority in tax
- Minimum B.S. degree
- CPA license or actively pursuing their CPA license
- Experience with Ultra Tax is a plus
- Experience in a paperless work environment is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- QuickBooks experience a plus
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Senior Auditor
Malvin, Riggins & Company, P.C. is looking for a full time Senior Auditor & Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate must have the following:
Requirements:
- 5+ Years as Audit Associate for a public accounting firm
- Experience with Non-Profits, Non-Public Entities, HUD, Government Contracts, ERISA, Yellow Book, and Uniform Guidance, preferable
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience with QuickBooks and Peachtree
- Must be willing to travel from base office as needed
- The ability to work full time while also working overtime from January 1 to April 15 (depending on office location and workload, overtime may months may differ in each location) and as needed throughout the year.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization a must
- Works to wrap-up audit engagements in a timely and economic manner
- Identifies opportunities for expanded services to existing clients
- Develops outside relationships with a goal to foster long-term business development opportunities (through membership
- involvement with professional groups, community service, and personal relationships)
- Perform other essential duties as needed
- Experience with ACS, Engagement CS, Practice CS, a plus

Senior Tax Manager
Malvin, Riggins & Company, P.C. is looking for a full time Senior Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA license and 5+ years of Public corporate, partnership, and individual tax experience. Audit experience is a plus. The position requires the following:
